Ha! That’s great about the iPad.
I wish I had typewriter noises on my computer. That’d be fun, but I’m sure it would be just another excuse to distract me.

They’re not a distraction – they’re a reward. It’s a shame the Linux version of Textroom has a bug, and the typewriter noises rarely work.
