Today’s “Signs of Humor in Advertising” in the New Yorker:

Does the agency for the new Mini Countryman know something we don’t? (Namely, that their target market are mostly frustrated novelists.)
Got me, but I always thought real writers took public transportation…
Keep writing, Tom Chandler.

I can’t make out the web address — somethingpress.com? Ooh, just when I need a publisher…
I’d love to get a new Mini, sure. But this writer looks better in a Jag XKE convertible, either red or British Racing Green (not too fussy on that point). I think that’s more for successful novelists, not frustrated ones though…
Love the new digs, BTW. A few subtle changes, but looks great!

Yep, new theme and new domain; life’s too short to spend it blogging about marketing.
That means more about writing, writing related goodies (including open source writing tools), writers and publishing. Plus any weird shit I can find.
And frankly, I deserve some kind of major cash award for getting the Copywriter Underground’s content transferred here, and with all the URLs intact.
I’ll stand by my mailbox, waiting for the check to arrive.
