Despite an early flirtation with photojournalism and newspapers, I spent most of the last 30 years writing marketing copy (suggesting a very stubborn human being) and consulting.
Now it’s time to write a few sentences for me instead of clients. So I re-tooled my copywriting blog. And I’m occasionally pitching stories to publications.
I blog about writers, the act of writing, writer’s tools (I’m a hopeless text editor/word processor geek), open source software (I run my biz on Ubuntu Linux), the digital revolution, and whatever else bubbles up.
Basically, anything letter related.
For those with who like a view of the outdoors, I also write a top fly fishing blog. Because like most writers, I really can’t get enough.
For almost 30 years I've worked as a writer (most of it freelance). I'm also the father of two perfect little girls.
Despite these things, I remain mostly sane.
The Underground reflects my interest in all kinds of writing and all kinds of writers (though if you're looking for SEO advice, you're probably in the wrong place).
