My writing, marketing and consulting worlds are powered by Ubuntu Linux, which runs like the wind and contributes little in the way of computerized drama to my life.

A writer can’t ask for much more.

  • 95% of my writing time is spent in programmer’s text editors: (Emacs, Komodo Edit, Sublime Text 2)
  • Gimp (image editing)
  • LibreOffice (when I need a word processor, spreadsheet or presentation software)
  • Markdown (markup language that is easier to write, read and format than HTML)
  • Celtx (screenwriting/video script software)
